Lee is incredibly well educated and stays up to the moment on new discoveries and recent thinking in the sciences that underpin his work – anatomy, physiology and exercise and nutritional science. Then, he listens to me; he really listens to me. He hears my goals and what I think are my obstacles, my fears, and he uses that understanding to inform his approach to the fitness and nutritional programmes he creates to get me to my health and fitness goals.
I’ve been training with Lee since 2011, and he’s seen me through everything from a fantastic Body-By-Science-based regime, to a difficult, long, slow recovery after a major surgery… to considering competing as a body builder, to learning to box… all along with a twice weekly basic fitness and movement programme.
A great coach and motivator, Lee digs deep into both his encyclopaedic knowledge of his field and his own personal experience, and he finds exactly the right incentives, whether extrinsic or intrinsic, to keep me pushing myself and reaching for my goals.
Along the way, anytime I strain or injure myself – usually outside the gym – Lee’s amazing technique with sports massage, myofascial release and various other manipulative healing modalities are always among the things that actually work to get me back to training fast.
I recommend Lee absolutely and without hesitation to anyone wanting to get fit or fitter, anyone wanting to get lean, strong and healthy… to anyone recovering or needing to implement a programme of physiotherapy… Whether you’ve been training for years and want to break through to the next level or, as I was, you’ve never trained and don’t quite know how – or might even be afraid – to get started… to anyone wanting in any way to rethink how they treat and use their body, working with Lee worked wonders for me, and I believe he could for you too.
